Arcbound is currently in MVP/Beta. The roadmap is outcome-focused rather than date-focused: stability, clarity, and depth come first.

MVP / Beta hardening

Make the core loop feel great: build → balance systems → missions → stabilise → launch pressure.

  • Core systems tuning (O₂, power, water, food, morale)
  • UX clarity (tooltips, warnings, readability)
  • Performance & stability (save/load, sim speed, spikes)
  • Better onboarding (first-run guidance + wiki hooks)

Depth & variety

Add meaningful choices and more ways for runs to diverge.

  • More modules & upgrade paths (distinct trade-offs)
  • More mission types + outcomes that reshape the run
  • More events/emergencies and recovery tools
  • More crew traits/specialists and morale interactions

Long-form arc

Extend the lifecycle beyond MVP: new phases, new pressures, new stories.

  • Expanded progression layers (tech, ship classes, factions)
  • Transit / voyage phase (post-launch pressures)
  • Community tooling / modding (platform TBD)
  • Narrative discovery + lore systems (spoiler-gated)
